The meaning

Catharsis (Ancient Greek: Κάθαρσις) is a Greek word meaning "purification", "cleansing" or "clarification." Catherine (Ancient Greek καθαίρειν) transliterated as kathairein "to purify, purge."
Two words, same meaning.

For some reason I have always had the need for catharsis. Kind of fitting seeing it is my name. I decided to start this blog to share the positive aspects in my every day life. It is very easy to be negative, more and more that is what we focus on in life. I thought this may help me look at my every day in a more positive light, in a world full of pessimism and ever prized nay saying.
